When I began teaching, I set myself two main goals:
- Be the best that I could be, and
- Be better than my English teachers
At the start of the year, I wanted to come up with a method in which I could allow my students to access information they were given in class, additional information to deepen their learning, and the freedom for them to access this at home. In addition, I wanted something that parents could access too, to see exactly what their child is doing, instead of the "English stuff" response they usually get.
So, about a term belated, I have created this blog. My hope is that my students and their parents will check on this regularly to help gain the best outcomes possible. My plan is to post lesson recaps either on a daily or weekly basis, so students can revise and study content on a more regular basis. I want to add links to newly updated videos that I have posted on my YouTube Channel. I also want to add exclusive online content for students, which I don't have time to cover within the set class time.
If any other fellow teacher/bloggers have any suggestions on creating a successful blog that would be great.
Well, I'm off and racing. Wish me luck.
Til next time,
Miss F.
